MALS Student Wins Graduate Community Award

The Graduate Community Award is presented annually to the graduate student who best exemplifies a deep commitment to serving the Dartmouth community. The 2017 recipient is Evelyn Zablah, a student in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) program, globalization studies track. Her research is focused on non-profits and her thesis is based on the work done by the renowned organization Doctors Without Borders, in an effort to promote social awareness, and the need for humanity to reflect on the importance of world health. “If, with this thesis, I can just show one person that, underneath it all, we are all only humans; and as someone once told me, our communality is greater than the divisions we create, I would feel fulfilled”, noted Evelyn.
