Each MALS student with an approved thesis proposal has the opportunity to apply for a one-time MALS Thesis Research Grant up to $500.00 during their tenure as an active student. This grant encourages in-depth research and assists students with expenses incurred during off-campus thesis research by reimbursing them for approved expenses.
To apply for a thesis research grant, students must write a letter to the Committee explaining their research goals and how the money would support those goals. Please be specific. The cost of meals, gifts, and equipment are not eligible for reimbursement.
