The Creative Writing track gives students the opportunity to engage in non-fiction, fiction, personal essay, screenwriting, poetry and journalism projects.
The Cultural Studies track allows students to explore diverse fields such as gender studies, ethnic studies, media & performance studies, post-colonial studies and many other topics.
The Globalization Studies track provides students with the option of exploring government, war & peace, politics, public policy, sociology, and anthropology using a global lens.
The Liberal Studies track is interdisciplinary in nature and allows students to engage in both directed and independent work on subjects that are not bound by the curricula of traditional disciplines.
The concentration you choose on your application does not have to be the concentration you declare later on. Concentrations are not officially declared until the submission of the independent study proposal. After this point, if you would like to change your concentration, you will need to meet with the director and provide a justification for your change.
