Finding Housing in the Upper Valley
Like any college/university town, rental housing in the Hanover area can be hard to find. There is limited graduate student housing, so you must apply early in order to obtain a residence. The Dartmouth Real Estate Office also maintains a list of Upper Valley rental listings.
Working as a MALS Student
Many MALS students work part-time while they are taking their classes or writing their theses. There are several employment opportunities on campus and in the towns of Hanover and Lebanon.
Dartmouth's Student Employment Office is the best place to start your job search. You can also find several area job listings in the classifieds of the Valley News or on dartlist.com.
