Annie Nigra, ScM, PhD, (She/Her/Hers) - Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, leads an ongoing project developing novel nationwide public drinking water exposure estimates and evaluating racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and regional inequities in these exposures nationwide. Dr. Nigra’s team is linking these public water exposure estimates to several NIH-funded cohorts to understand the direct contribution of public drinking water exposures to inequities in related outcomes, including cardiometabolic disease and adverse birth outcomes
