Copyright has become a part of everyday life. Whenever you forward an email, post an image on social media, or share a song with friends, copyright law applies to that situation. This workshop will cover what copyright law actually covers, how you can use it to your advantage, the differences between open access publishing and other methods, and ways that we can advocate for positive change in an extremely confusing area of law. Feel free to come with your own questions about agreements you have signed or about journal publishing.
