The event will take place as a webinar on April 27, 2022 at 5pm. It features a conversation between Professor Colleen Glenney Boggs (Patriotism by Proxy: The Civil War Draft and the Cultural Formation of Citizen-Soldiers, 1863-1865 [Oxford University Press, 2020]) and Professor Travis Foster (Genre and White Supremacy in the Postemancipation United States [Oxford University Press, 2019]), who was a participant in Professor Boggs’s 2010 Futures Institute seminar.
