Chief Jorge Estevez : Taino History, Culture, and Contemporary Movements

Jorge Estevez (Taino) talks about the first Native Americans who encountered Christopher Columbus, debunks the' Myth of Taino Extinction', and the descendant-led movement of today.

  • In the 2010 US Census, approximately 20,000 Puerto Ricans identified as American Indian/Taino
