Saul Lelchuk

Visiting Lecturer; Master of Arts In Liberal Studies Program

Saul Lelchuk graduated cum laude from Amherst College, earning a B.A. in English, and went on to attend the Dartmouth MALS Program with a creative writing concentration. He has taught both fiction and nonfiction writing, served as a mentor for the PEN American Center Prison Writing Program and since 2008 has been a guest author at Emerson College. Saul began teaching creative writing at MALS in 2016, and enjoys working with students to explore the forms of short story, novella, and novel through both classes and theses. Food writing, sports writing, and the thriller/suspense genre are particular interests. His debut novel will be brought out by Macmillan in June 2018.
