Oxford Summer Program

MALS at Dartmouth offers study abroad opportunities at Oxford University's International Summer Schools for selected MALS students.

The Program

Oxford University's International Summer Schools offer intensive, three-week programs where students attend daily lectures followed by small group seminars comprising students from across the globe.

The Oxford Summer Program fulfills the MALS Elective requirement.

The Summer School options for MALS students include:

  • English Literature
  • History, Politics and Society
  • Creative Writing

For further information, please visit the program's website.

Apply

The Oxford Summer Program application process for MALS students is handled entirely by the MALS office. Students do not apply directly to Oxford University's International Summer Schools.

MALS students wishing to attend the Oxford Summer Program for credit through MALS will need to attend an initial Oxford Summer Program Application Workshop held by the MALS Director each January.
