Assistant Dean Publishes on First-Generation in the Ivy League

MALS Visiting Lecturer and Assistant Dean of Graduate Student Affairs has published her book, Postsecondary Education for First-Generation and Low-Income Students in the Ivy League: Navigating Policy and Practice.

Explores what is it like for low-income students to feel the need to “pass” in their new college environments where the majority of their peers enjoy a high level of economic, social, and cultural capital.
